What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They are widely used to make websites work, remember preferences, and provide analytics information.

Cookies we use

Strictly Necessary (cannot be disabled)

These cookies are required for TradeFlow Journal to function:

  • tf_session — Authenticates your logged-in session. Expires when you close your browser or after 30 days if "Remember me" is checked.
  • tf_csrf — CSRF protection token. Session-scoped, deleted on logout.

Preference Cookies (optional)

These store your in-app settings:

  • tf_theme — Remembers your UI theme preference. Expires after 1 year.
  • tf_locale — Remembers your timezone and currency format. Expires after 1 year.

Analytics Cookies (optional)

We use privacy-first analytics (Plausible Analytics — cookieless by default) to understand which features are used. No personal data is stored and no cross-site tracking occurs.

What we do NOT use

We do not use advertising cookies. We do not use third-party tracking pixels. We do not use Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, or any similar technologies.

Managing cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in. You can also manage preferences via the cookie settings panel in your account.
